June 28-July 2, 2020(MON – FRI) 9AM-4PM CDT
Fiddle and mandolin players players will learn tunes and techniques from a variety of traditions such as Bluegrass, Scottish, Jazz, Appalachian, Irish, and Blues.
The days begin with a live get together we call Round Up. Then students learn on their own from video lessons that our teachers prepare in advance. The afternoon we meet live for review sessions, jams, and Office Hours where teachers are available for live, one-on-one help.
The camp culminates with a video recital project. In addition to instrumental classes, we are adding a step dance and fun extras. Those that complete all of the classes and tasks will receive a special graduation award. Students will have access to the lessons for one year.
Can’t make the live sessions? No worries! You can work on the lessons at your own pace and time for one year.
